March 15, 2017 – Day 47 of 365

A Black + White Edit — 

Today’s assignment was a black and white edit.  So I ventured into the back yard in search of appropriate subject matter.  Sometimes the most obvious subject initially alludes recognition.  Eventually, the abstract design created by the branches and white floral blooms smacked me over my head as the perfect image.  I’m glad the flowering shrubs have come into bloom as early as they did this year.  It’s been a rather strange but wonderful winter.  But somehow through it all,  the bridal veil spirea has managed to survive this recent cold snap.
