Spring Floral Photography

Today’s, floral image addition to my new photographic series exploring floral photography is this exquisite Flame Calla Lilly.   I love this particular variety because the blossoms open yellow with a red edge.  As they mature, the blossom becomes more of a glowing, flame-red color.  This change in color creates some incredible photo opportunities to capture light reflections on the blooms.  Exploring various floral angles and lighting made it exceptionally difficult to settle on only one image to share in this post.

. . . gallery continues to grow.  Because many of these blooms offered a variety of photographic angles, I’ve decided to include multiple images of many of the flowers.  Reflecting on this variety of floral images nourishes my soul.  I’m becoming increasingly anxious for the warmer days ahead and the opportunity to spend time outside with nature.
