As the last month of 2018 begins, the holiday party season has officially begun. Ken and Alan took the opportunity to enjoy a nice day of holiday shopping on the Country Club Plaza. After taking time to enjoy a nice dinner together, they viewed the Kansas City Country Club Plaza lights for the first time this Christmas season. Then it was off to the first of many holiday parties to celebrate the season.
The snow-covered streets and temperatures in the teens that greeted us at the beginning of the week were eradicated by the rain and warmer temps yesterday. But it looks like Mother Nature has plans for a return to colder temps and more snow next week. After three years with little snow accumulation, the potential for snow is a welcome addition to help create the perfect holiday atmosphere. At least if it’s going to be cold and snowy, it’s more acceptable if it can be accompanied by the traditions of holiday parties and gift giving. Not to mention the memories created with family and friends at these events.
So, do you need a unique holiday gift this season for a loved one?
Several of my whimsical composite images featuring Kansas City landmarks will appeal to anyone who’s spent time in the metro. In the coming months, I will be adding many more categories. Meanwhile, the “Goin’ to Kansas City” series is available in time for the holiday gift-giving season. Currently, you can select a variety of images featuring Ken and the Boys Goin’ to Kansas City. Prints are also available featuring Barbie and Ken Goin’ to Kansas City. Also available as a more economical option for Barbie and Ken fans, is the Goin’ to Kansas City calendar option. Or drop me a note to inquire about other possibilities. I’m willing to consider personal requests that meet your unique circumstances.
