We’ve enjoyed Vail America Days since the late 80’s. It’s a chance to escape from the hot muggy weather in Kansas City. The annual 4th of July parade is always a highlight. This year’s parade theme was A Tribute to the 10th Mountain Division. And this year’s parade did not disappoint. The history of the legendary 10th Mountain Division has always intrigued me. It was even more special this year seeing some of the WWII veterans from the 10th Mountain Division as honored guests in the parade. And it was truly special to meet Richard Over, 10th Mountain Veteran and 2019 Vail America Days Parade Marshal, after the parade.
